The water is usually clear with some weeds and algae later in the summer season. The beach is on Dried Meat Lake and is actually part of the Battle River.

Tillicum is perfectly perched on the sandy beach yet it still offers some shade. The campground offers views of both the ocean and the Coastal Range. Check in tie is 2pm and check out is 12:00pm. This very clean campground has the closest beach on the Oregon Coast.

Hard right off of Hwy 101, this beach-front campground has many sites with beautiful ocean views. Most all of the sites are large with picnic areas, extra room for tents and fire pits. Only half the sites have hook-ups but the dry camping spots are reasonably priced. The beach is fabulous and just steps away from some of the sites.

Tillicum Beach Campground in Oregon. Experience the solitude and beauty of the Oregon coast, with miles of sand dunes and long stretches of undeveloped sandy beaches. Tillicum Beach Campground is right on the beach, with mountain views on sunny days, and a beach perfect for swimming or surfing.

Because of the fantastic ocean views, this is one of my FAVORITE camp grounds in Oregon. There are a few spots with electrical and water hook ups for $22. The best view spots are basic, without hookups, these go for $17 per night. Tillicum Beach Campground, however, happens to be nestled right along the shoreline with amazing views and excellent beach access. This campground is an Oregon Coast gem.
